From time to time I have the opportunity to work with E. S. Taylor Studio

on stained or leaded glass commissions. Below are a few select projects.

Cartoon for Figure Panel Restoration of Louis Comfort Tiffany Te Deum Window, All Saints Episcopal Church, Richmond, VA

E.S. Taylor Studio, 2022

Working from a copy of the original Tiffany drawing, I created a replica cartoon for this project. In a previous repair, the bottom section of this panel had been made without following the intended drape of the garment in the lower right corner. Using the cartoon as a template, the repair was removed and the panel was restored to follow the lines as originally designed.

Based on the other Nipper windows and the original painting of His Master's Voice, I restored the ear color, facial features and the collar, and also executed the background infill painting for this project in 2018.

On this project colorant was mixed and applied to optical epoxies to match the original glass paint and mask lines along breaks.

In 2008 the Royall family commissioned leaded glass panels for their garage that replicated the bottom sections of Tudor panels in the interior of their home. I created the drawn patterns for those panels. These are Zillow photos since I didn't manage to take any images.
